Meet Derby - Happy & Smart Boy

Derby and his siblings were fortunate to have been born shortly after their mom was rescued as a stray who had been living on her own for a long time. They were born June 10, just after mom arrived to our rescue from Eastern Washington.

Derby is just over 5 months old now. He's very socialized and loves people. He has also been around many other dogs since being born. He's got a very sweet temperament.

He is very smart and has been enjoying hikes with his foster parents. Derby has good house manners and is very food motivated.

We do not know for sure which breeds Derby and his siblings have in them, but we did a DNA test on Mom and there were many--including Australian Cattle Dog, Boxer, Border Collie, Golden Retriever, and many more. He is the best breed ever--supermutt!
