Meet Derby

Derby came to us as a stray, he is a happy young male hound mix; we believe he may be one year old and he weighs 46 pounds now. He is VERY PLAYFUL and has HIGH PUPPY ENERGY! Derby does also enjoy being petted and loves people. He may have too much energy for small children with his overwhelming happiness! He will need a kind hand to teach and guide him. Derby is learning to walk on a leash, and also how to bring back toys. He LOVES squeaky toys or toys that make a crinkle sound. This pup will need a large yard to run in and an active family! What a great dog Derby is going to be!!
