Meet DELTA (Pink Collar Girl (Injured Left Rear Leg))

DELTA

Delta is aprroximately 1 1/2 years old female 60 lbs up to date on vaccines, is a beautiful tripod. She is spayed, microchipped and undergoing heartworm treatment.

Delta and her brother Tag, were found together as strays. When we took them into the rescue, Delta clearly had a severe back leg injury that appeared to have healed without being treated. Unfortunately Delta had to have the injured leg amputated but she is doing great in wonderful foster home. Delta has been resting a lot and is very calm for her age. She has played with a few toys, likes chew treats and loves when it is time to eat. She does well in her kennel, is house trained and goes to the door when she needs to go out to potty. She loves pets and head scratches and has done well around other people. Her foster home has cats and she is curious about them but just sniffs them and goes on about her business. Delta is working on meeting the dogs in her foster but has mostly been kept seperated from them while she recovers from her surgery.
