Meet Del Rey
Del Rey was part of a litter of puppies surrendered to a rural shelter in south Texas. He became sick with Distemper and was left to die while his healthy siblings were taken in by a rescue. A local rescuer refused to give up on him and against all odds, brought him back from the brink of death! He developed a minor head tremor as a result of nerve damage, but is otherwise healthy and happy.
Del Rey is now 2 years old (it has been one year since he recovered from Distemper). He's a very sweet boy who's grateful for the simplest things, like a meal and a kind word. He enjoys being around people and other dogs, and brings a certain Zen energy wherever he goes.
Del Rey is fostered in NYC and is available for adoption anywhere in the US as long as the adopter is willing and able to travel to NYC to meet and adopt him. Please fill out the adoption application here: https://bit.ly/rosr_adoptnfoster.
