DEE DEE (Spayed!) Hound Crossville, TN

DEE DEE is listed as a 65-lb. spayed Hound mix female adult, about 2 years of age. She is red with some white markings and arrived at the shelter in early August 2024. Hallelujah, she has a spay tattoo, which means she has already been fixed and she will be able to go home the same day that she is adopted! She is currently housed with a neutered male dog who is well matched with her for energy and temperament. They are having a blast entertaining one another. That is a good sign, in case you have any other dogs at home. However, you still would want to bring your dog with you to your adoption appointment to make sure that your dog and she are a good match. Serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared! That includes taking a dog collar and leash with you to the adoption appointment in case you do decide to adopt her. Even better, take a large dog crate with you as she weighs 65 pounds. No animal should be allowed to run freely in any vehicle. Especially an animal that you have just adopted! Safety first!
