Hi, I'm Dayna!

Life hasn't always been easy for me. I came from a rough start, found in pretty bad shape, super skinny and with a few scars that tell a story I'm not quite ready to share. The kind folks at DeKalb Humane Society took me in after I was rescued by the Garrett Animal Pound, and they've shown me what real love feels like.

At first, I am really scared of people--flinching at every movement, unsure if I could trust again. But with a lot of patience, gentle words, and love, I've learned that not all humans are bad. In fact, I've discovered that I have a HUGE heart full of love to give. Sudden movements and sudden noised do spook me which is why I need to be in a home with no kids. Once I know you won't hurt me, I'll be your most loyal friend, always ready to snuggle up and give you the sweetest kisses. I just need help with socialization because I am fearful of new situations and humans at first. Someone with experience in socializing fearful/reactive dogs is highly recommended.

I'm ready to find a forever home with someone who understands my past and is willing to continue helping me heal. I promise to fill your life with endless love and gratitude. Dog adoption fees are $250.00 for all puppies and adult dogs. Seniors are a donation of choice.
