This cutie is Dax, an eight-month old male mixed breed. Best guess is he has some shepherd/coonhound/Australian cattle dog in him?? Your guess is as good as ours. His birthdate is 12/1/23. Dax is currently almost 50 lbs. and has some more growing to do. It is apparent that Dax has lived most of his life outside. He’s learning how to behave on a leash. He is a sweet, handsome boy who loves attention. As with any puppy, he will need house training reinforced. Dax is an expert at using his doggy door.

All dogs up for adoption are spayed or neutered and are heartworm tested and will be up-to-date on distemper/parvo, kennel cough and rabies vaccinations. We also treat for worms and ear mites as well as flea and tick preventative.

We welcome visitors Tuesday evenings 4-7 p.m. Saturday mornings 9 a.m. to noon. Sundays 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. You may also schedule an appointment at a time that is more convenient for your schedule. Call 217-322-2220 if you have any questions or concerns.
