Dawn is a gentle, lovable, playful tomboy with her favorite accessory being a tennis ball! Estimated to be around 2 yrs old and with a disposition as sweet as her brown-sugar coat, Dawn has already mastered several skills at her young age. She’s an expert-level fetcher, a champion at tug of war, the best backyard varmint chaser, and an accomplished couch companion!

She’s such a wonderful girl and so good at many things but her unstable background combined with her time at the center, has her feeling unsure sometimes. At home with her family, she is as easy and wonderful as can be, but she may be leery of new people entering the house or approaching her on walks. Dawn wants to be where the people are and she is very helpful! She is always doing her best to please, watching constantly with those sweet, soulful eyes to make sure she doing things right. Despite being soooo incredibly gentle, Dawn’s lack of confidence makes her insecure around kids therefore it’s recommended that she not live with younger children. And with her thrill-of-the-hunt prey drive she’s a no to cats. Dawn is house trained, crate trained, clean and quiet. She is very easy to live with, and fun to be around.
