Meet Darla
Sweet Darla girl was spotted living in deplorable conditions during the hottest days of the summer without shade and water. After multiple escapes running in traffic we knew we had to step in. After speaking with the owners of the home they agreed to sign her over and start the beginnings of her new life with proper care.
After removing her from those conditions she came alive and was the sweetest, goofiest, and happiest girl we have seen. She loves to play with her friends, run around the yard, jump in your arms to be held and get love and frolick in the water. Although she is not completely house trained she is almost crate trained with accidents few and far between. This girl is just happy to have the proper care and environment to be a dog and around humans. She does great in group play gaining more and more confidence by the day. Darla has been fully vaccinated, and spayed making her ready to find her forever place to lay her head. She has been around kids in her previous home, but we have not had the chance to test that out ourselves but we imagine with her compact size it wouldn't be a problem. We are not sure how she is around cats and other animals, but she loves playing with other dogs. We don't imagine Darla being much bigger than 30 pounds as she is currently 16 pounds at 5 months old.
