DARIA Mixed Breed Nashville, TN

Daria is a big, BIG sweetie. She loves cuddling on the couch but is equally as happy to lay at your feet (as long as you give her the occasional head scratch). She has a goofy personality and will tell you how she feels with a wide variety of groans and sighs. She opens up relatively quickly and loves to sleep on her back with her front paws curled up. She can forget how big of dog she is when she gets excited so shell need a forever family that is familiar with dogs her size. Because of this, she would also probably be best suited for a family with older children. Daria is also surprisingly well-mannered for a dog her size and as tempting as it is to grab food off the counter, she would only indulge in a quick sniff. Daria is one of the sweetest dogs. She is fantastic on the leash, listens very well, and would love to be a lap dog (though her size doesnt allow - she settles for laying her head in your lap). She is a bit timid in new places but as long as there are no spooky noises she warms up quick. She has a loud bark, however anyone that speaks to her in a friendly voice becomes her best friend and is greeted with lots of kisses and nubby tail wags. Daria has met dogs of all sizes and even a couple of cats and she remained neutral. She is a little offended that the cats didnt want to play but she seemed to do well, no signs of prey drive or fixation. She will definitely be a loyal and loving companion to the person that is lucky enough to adopt her.
