Daphne Mixed Breed Hawkestone, ON

Daphne is a 1 year old mixed breed dog who was rescued from a northern Ontario community after she was hit by a car. Daphne had sustained quite an injury to her front left paw - she had 2 fractures and the paw had degloved. After many weeks on crate rest in a splint and bandage changes twice a week, Daphne's paw is now healed and she's ready to find her forever home!

Daphne is a very sweet girl who loves to snuggle and get affection. She gets along really well with most other dogs and loves to play and wrestle with the other dog in her foster home. Daphne would do best in a home without small animals/cats as she does have a high prey drive.

Daphne does well interacting with children at our meet and greet events but she is more comfortable living in an adult only home. An active home that's committed to continuing Daphne's training and socialization would be her ideal fit! She has learned lots of new behaviours while in foster and she's easily motivated with food and affection. This girl loves to learn new things!
