As an adoption fee-based rescue, we do not operate on monthly support. Our adoption fee of $650 covers transport, which is arranged post-adoption, and is tax-deductible as we are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Should you wish to arrange your own transport, the adoption fee remains the same.
Operation Barking Squirrel rescue in Texas that partners with transport companies that travel to your area at least 1x a month. Texas is the #1 euthanasia state in the US, so it is important that we work with our partnerships to get our pups adopted out of state.
Our adoption fee includes everything your new pet needs for a healthy start in your home. This covers all necessary vaccinations, current months preventatives for heartworms, fleas, ticks, and worms, and rabies shots (age requirement) We spay or neuter unless they are too young. Each pet is fitted with a lifetime microchip for safety and identification.
