RESCUING DANICA
We met Danica at her worst- she was hit by a car! Her injuries included a shattered left back leg. right hip displacement, to which none of the ligaments seemed to be attached, and her lung collapsed. We were able to give her her FREEDOM RIDE on 4/2/22. She was stabilized overnight and was able to see the orthopedic specialist to be evaluated. She ultimately had to have her left leg amputated due to being beyond repair.
ABOUT DANICA
Danica has had a rough beginning, but it does not need to end there! Have a soft spot for a tripod dog? Danica is your girl! She is housebroken, crate trained, and a pretty low-maintenance girl due to her circumstances. She is a dominant female, so she would not be good in a house with cats, but possibly with another dog after an introduction. Her favorite activities will be more cuddling and sleep rather than a big hike or fetching. Danica would love a good comfy area to lie down and someone to give her the love that she so deserves!
ADOPTING DANICA
Danica is spayed, is updated on vaccines, dewormed, and microchipped. She is on monthly preventative. She is eating Stella & Chewy Essentials Meadow Recipe grain-free dry dog food.
