Dani Fox Terrier Mix Salisbury, MD

Dani has a sad tale to tell. She came to us when her owners could no longer care for her. She was in ruff shape- but no worries. She's bouncing back better than ever. Here at HSWC Spa Palace Dani is getting everything she needs to be smoother, softer, and full of great food in her little belly. She is in pursuit of a happy forever life.

She is crate trained. It's her safe space and she loves to hunker down. She may not be thrilled at being rudely removed from her comfy nest, but she will allow her hooman to carry, walk or possibly stroller transport her.

She has a polite, well mannered, TIMID personality right now. She is opening up more every day to his trusted friends. She takes treats cautiously. She is NOT the rambunctious hyper little dog that will jump in your lap. She will cautiously consider your stability and handling skills before approaching to sit next to you. She is the one looking to curl up beside you with a good book and quiet music.
Not a great option for a busy house with kids.
She has been around dogs previously and does not react negatively to them passing by her area. She will do best with dogs close to her own size. Meet and greets will be scheduled with potential siblings to determine compatibility.
Dani Loves cats and kitties. She will do well in a home with felines that will tolerate her interaction. She likes to interview them by poking her nose gently.
She will not do well with grumpy cats that will hiss and throw left hooks her way.

She is working on getting a few pounds up under her pretty coat.

She has tolerated exams, evaluations and a few needles from the care team willingly.
She is working hard to overcome his fears.

Dani will need a patient leader that will help her learn how to learn and work on basic obedience commands through positive reinforcement. That process will help her build her confidence and strengthen the bond with her forever hooman.


Dani is looking forward to continuing her exercise program with daily walks so she can use her energy and her nose to smell all the smells instead of poking her nose at kitty friends!
