Meet Daisy Sweetpaws - a 13 month old, Lab mix, who weighs 58 pounds (as of 12/9/24). This sweet girl came to us form an extreme hoarding situation. She and her sisters had been kept outside in a wire crate in the cold, with only straw to keep them warm (and a tarp over the crate for shelter). Given her background, it's amazing to see how outgoing this girl is! She's super playful, loving, cuddly, and LOVES to be around people!

Her foster shares: "Daisy Sweetpaws is cuddly, playful and happy! Her name says it all and she is an absolute sweetheart. She has been doing so well with her training and is an absolute love bug !! She knows 'sit' and 'down' and we are working with her on door manners (having her sit and stay before going through the door). She enjoys her crate and goes in it to have some down time or when we are out out running errands. We're happy to report she hasn’t had any accidents in the house and she has made great progress with her leash manners! Daisy Sweetpaws also LOVES the car and would be happy to go on rides as your co-pilot. She is excited to be with her humans and will love going with you on walks or hikes and also loves snuggling up with you on the couch at the end of the day. She does prefer a home without kids - adults are really her jam. Wherever you go, she is right there behind you keeping you company and loving you! She is a really sweet girl who can't wait to meet her forever family!"

All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
