DAISY needs her hero ASAP!!

We still desperately need a foster or an adopter for her now. She is deteriorating in the shelter and cannot be in the shelter environment much longer. Please share this girl so we can get her out!!

Daisy is very loving and affectionate. She loves attention! She has perfected those big puppy dog eyes and uses them to get all the extra treats. Daisy has the best smile and a sparkle in her eyes that's just adorable. She likes to cuddle and is pretty mellow.

Here is what you need to know about her:
• She will make a little nest out of her comforter and just curl right up.
• She prefers squeaky toys over plush toys
• loooooves cheeseburgers with no pickles and light ketchup.
• Corn dogs are her new favorite food
• She loves people, she’s a sweetheart!
• She can climb a fence so she will need leash walks or a tie out while she’s in the yard. She’s great on a leash! She's gone on outings with volunteers and she does great!
• She is crate trained and potty trained and will let you know when she needs to go outside!
• Daisy is good with other calm dogs, but no cats or chickens.

Daisy is a super cute Pit Bull mix! She is 4 years old and she weighs 63 lbs. She is spayed, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, heartworm tested, and dewormed. Her adoption fee is sponsored for the very best family for her!

ADOPTING A PET
We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend. We are also open Monday through Friday by appointment. Please contact us by phone at 913-321-1445 or by email at petadoptions@kckpd.org to schedule your appointment during weekdays.

If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.

Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).
