Meet Daisy
Daisy is a very sweet, affectionate beagle/heeler girl who is about 7 years old who would love a person of her own.
Daisy came in very overweight at 41lbs, but is about 35lbs now and slowly losing weight thanks to a diet of dog food and veggies.
Prior to HERO, Daisy lived his an elderly owner who gave her hot dogs and table scraps often. Because Daisy was an only dog and fed table scraps, she can be moody with other dogs about food which is why we believe she would make a great only dog.
However, Daisy does currently lives with several other dogs in foster without issue as long as she is separated for treats and meal time.
Daisy's owner passed away and she was left outside to fend for herself. After almost getting hit she ended up at a shelter needing several large bladder stones removed, so she became a HERO pup.
Daisy is housetrained, leash trained and good with all people, though her strong food drive means she needs an adult home or home with teenagers to avoid nipped fingers at treat time.
