DAISY Great Dane Latham, NY

DAISY is the sweetest puppy you’ll ever meet. She is a FABULOUS 1 year old Great Dane. She came from an unfortunate situation but is now learning what life is like outside of one room. She is a goofy and playful girl that is curious about almost everything and doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. She is a gentle giant that loves to sleep on top of her person or her canine companion. She is learning to walk on leash, up to date on her vaccinations and spayed. When she came to her foster she had double eye infections from entropion (is an inversion or inward turning of the eyelid margin). Surgery for her eyes was delayed as she is having trouble gaining weight from the initial malnutrition she suffered in her past life; but she is making progress and is on the road to recovery. She has a condition that is called panosteitis (growing pains) where her bones are inflamed, this causes her pain and to limp occasionally. It should resolve spontaneously by the time she is full grown. For now , she is on pain medication to help.
Daisy loves to play with her toys and her canine friends. She had a rough start to life but she has blossomed into a sweet puppy that’s joyous and friendly to all.
Daisy is mastering the art of potty training and doing a great job. She would make a wonderful addition to any home. She has not been cat tested, but if needed can be.
