Meet Daisy #23
Daisy is a petite, 48lb, 1 year old black lab mix who spent the first part of her life in a barn with her siblings and parents in Mississippi. She has been getting used to living in a house in her Brookline foster home, and each day she grows more and more comfortable. She is house trained and does well on free roam. She loves other dogs and loves to play chase and tug with her furry friends. She has met cats but is still not sure what to make of them. She is good with older children in her foster home. Daisy is cautious with new people but super friendly with new dogs. She will need love and patience as she is adjusting to a new home, but a happy, friendly, and confident resident dog would make the transition quicker . She is incredibly sweet and will give your love back to you tenfold!
Edit: Daisy recently tested positive for heart worm and has started treatment. She is looking for a quiet, and calm home where she can finish out the remainder of treatment safely. Approved costs of the remainder of treatment will be covered by the rescue.
