Meet Dahlia

Dahlia (aka Mila) is the epitome of the great Heeler breed. She is loyal, sweet and eager to please her humans. She automatically walks right next to you in a heel position, looking for direction. Mila is dog friendly and very submissive. We have not yet tested her with cats, but we believe she would be great with a dog savvy cat.

She just arrived to Colorado from Oklahoma, but we are ready quickly working with her on basic commands. She does very well with recall and sit already. It did not take long to get her housebroken, but still requires patience on walks for her to feel comfortable going potty with distractions and people around.

Shes a little nervous with loud sounds and barking dogs, but she did just break out of puppy prison and shes only 1yr old. Plenty of life now to flourish and feel love for this sweet girl, who was apparently kept outside he entire life and then left in a backyard when her owner moved. If you have a comfy couch and an empty lap to share, Mila would love to meet you!
