// // Say hello to Crockett, a super friendly mixed breed pup who we think is a blend of hound and maybe dachshund because he has a long'ish body.

Are you looking for a sweet, loving, devoted dog? If so, then Crockett is for you. He is about a year old and 17 lbs. He loves to give and receive attention. He will sit next to you and enjoys being petted. He rarely barks and likes going on walks. He gets along well with kids and other dogs. He is a calm, good natured dog.

He would also make a really good pet for someone who is a little older. He loves to just sit and be loved. He does not like to be left alone, so having another dog to be his pal would be a huge plus. While he is good with kids he is easily startled. He does not like sudden movements or loud noises which sometimes comes along with kids.

Crockett is well behaved but still learning his potty manners, so some patience will be required while he figures things out. He's friendly with other dogs but we don't know how he'd be around cats. He walks pretty well on a leash, is getting used to riding in the car, and sleeps nicely throughout the night (in his foster's bed).

Crockett is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines. His adoption fee is $300.

All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption.

Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. Fees help Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs,
