Nelli is a possible Harrier Hound that was rescued from a well pad, where the landowner said he was going to shoot her if she was not gone by hunting season.

She is a very sweet & loving girl who used to be nervous of any new person, but has come out of her shell a lot and loves everyone she meets.

Nelli currently lives with the two people that rescued her from being shot, but she needs a loving home where she can be the center of attention as this couple has 6 other animals of their own and we're not planning to have any more.

Nelli gets along with the other dogs in the home, but not the cats as she has a high prey drive. Nelli is not much for playing, but she is learning how to every day. Her favorite thing to do it'll follow her hound nose! All day every day. So she would do best in a home with a fenced in yard. Nelli does not jump, and is house trained. She has not been around children since being in this home but the couple believes she would do just fine as she is a very sweet and calm girl.
