Meet Cory- pending
Named after the big white dog in "The Never Ending Story" , Falcor, " Cory" was born on 7/26/09. He was sold to a person who bought him puppy mill in Nebraska, who then paid to have him flown to Indiana. She bought him to be a service dog, even though he was not trained as a service animal, and after one week she took him to an animal shelter. According to his posting on the puppy mill website, his father is a pure bred great pyrenees, and his mother is 3/4 great pyrenees and 1/4 border collie. he is a great combo of the two breeds with the laid back personality of the pyr, but a little more lively and smaller from his pyr/border collie parent. He looks like a purebred great pyrenees. . He is a gentle easy going boy, and gets along well with other dogs, and is friendly with people. Cory will be placed as inside pet with outside privileges a secure above ground fenced yard. Pyrs do not do well with wireless fencing.
