Meet Constance
Meet Constance!
Constance is a gorgeous brindle girl who has the most expressive brown eyes and the absolute softest fur. Her face is very expressive, and she also loves to "talk," although we haven't quite figured out what she is saying yet!
Constance is about 7 years old, spayed, and heartworm negative. She is completely potty and kennel trained. She currently weighs about 83lbs., but we are aiming for her ideal weight, which is around 75 lbs.
Constance is very gentle and not at all food or toy aggressive. She loves car rides, hanging out in the back yard chasing squirrels, or going on walks.
What Constance needs and wants is a playmate of her own stature. She desperately tries to get our two small dogs to engage in play, and clearly has no clue about the 75lb size difference! Even though she likes to be my shadow, it's clear she is lonely for a canine buddy. While she is a bit awkward and shy with too much human affection, whenever she engages with another dog she is in her element, and her eyes light up with joy.
Constance needs a home where she can feel safe and loved. She has joint issues, and may need surgery at some point. She will also most likely need to have medication and supplements for the rest of her life. It may sound like a lot, but this girl is SO worth it!!!

Our dogs are fostered in Texas but available for adoption in the Pacific Northwest... with stops in - Lacey, WA, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR. These dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue.
Our out of state adoption fee is $550 for adults and $650 for puppies. This fee includes: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up to date heart-worm and flea preventative, heart-worm test if over 6 months, microchip with registration, health certificate, and transport costs.
As a Saving Hope direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc). The adoption application and fee would be finalized prior to transport.
