Congee Boston Terrier Holtsville, NY

Poor Congee was picked up as a stray running at large from kids who were hitting her with a board when a good citizen stepped up and had her picked up.
Her nails were so overgrown that they started to grow into her pad and caused an infection which she has been treated for. She could also stand to gain some weight as well and due to being under weight she developed some bowing in her legs which is correctable with proper nutrition.

Congee is a Boston Terrier mix and weighs 24 lbs. She is said to be the sweetest thing even after everything she has endured. She loves to be loved! Congee is a little protective of her food with other dogs and rightfully so under the circumstances so we are recommending no other dogs for now or young children under 12, since she was being attacked by some. Otherwise this girl just wants to be held and cuddled with. She is not very energetic right now since the injury on her foot and and lack of nutrients but that will change with the proper nutrition and her pad on her foot being healed.
