Meet Colt!

He is approximately 8 months old and about 34 pounds of pure love and snuggles!

Colt hitched a ride from our wonderful volunteers from Virginia to PA and has been with his foster for a few weeks now. He is house trained with routine breaks outside and loves to play with toys of all kinds as well as his 4 foster siblings. Colt loves to rough house with the resident dogs of the house and would probably enjoy a home with another doggy playmate, but could also do just fine as the only dog to soak up all of your attention to himself.


Colt is a certified snuggle bug ?. and loves loves loves to be at your feet for some scritches behind the ear. He has soft blue eyes that will peer inside your soul for as long as you’ll let him!

Colt is pretty submissive to people and other dogs and doesn’t like much confrontation so he will need someone willing to help him continue to build his confidence through positive reinforcement training. Colt does bark at dogs he sees in the neighborhood but redirects pretty well once he’s comfortable in his environment. He walks very well on a leash and is just an overall good and sweet pup.

If you’re gonna adopt Colt you’ll need to have the biggest, fluffiest most comfortable bed ready for him because he loves to nap! I’d say Colt is medium to low energy but loves to have a good romp in the yard or daily walk.
