Meet Cody
Say Hello to Cody! Cody is an almost 2 year old, white and brindle greyhound. He is racing greyhound, however, a broken leg sent him to an early retirement before his career could get started. It’s all healed up now, and he is ready to start looking at applications for a furever home
Cody is a spirited and enthusiastic young dog who embodies the joy of puppyhood! He has lots of energy and playful nature and brings a lively presence to any home. Cody still has lots of puppy energy and loves to explore and play; he is still learning the ropes and could use some guidance.
This lovable boy is best suited for an active household without small children, as he tends to get a little too excited and may accidentally knock them over. Cody is great at settling down in his crate and enjoys lounging on the couch when he's ready for a break.
He’s a social pup who gets along well with other dogs, but can be overbearing with attempts to play. He is currently being fostered with adult humans, other greyhounds, and a couple cats. He is a bit too interested in the cats still, but is cat correctable. He could do well in a home with cats as long as the human is well versed in introducing everyone and maintaining boundaries.
We think he could okay as an only dog, provided he receives plenty of attention and exercise. Cody is food motivated, which makes training sessions a breeze with a little dedication and consistency. He enjoys walks but is still learning leash manners. He hasn’t had any accidents in the house.
If you're looking for a loving, energetic companion to join your family, Cody may be the perfect fit. Are you ready to give this charming boy the home he deserves?
