COCOA IS BEING FOSTERED IN TEXAS BUT IS ABLE TO TRAVEL TO IOWA ON ONE OF OUR UPCOMING TRANSPORTS.
Cocoa is a sweet, gentle 2-3-year-old mama who’s ready to find her forever home after raising her "Chocolate" litter. She was discovered abandoned in Cleveland, TX—a common location where stray and neglected animals are found, along with her puppies, who were just 2 weeks old. Despite facing the challenges of survival on her own, Cocoa devoted herself to caring for her babies.
Cocoa is eager to continue living the pampered life she deserves. If you're looking for a laid-back companion to snuggle up with on the couch while you watch your favorite show or dive into a good book, Cocoa is the perfect fit! She’s house and crate trained, knows basic commands, and is friendly with everyone and everything she meets. Cocoa can be a bit shy at first, but with time, she warms up and reveals her true sweet nature. Once she feels safe and secure, she’ll shower you with affection. If you're ready to give this loving girl the gentle, forever home she deserves, Cocoa will be your loyal and devoted companion.
Health Update: Cocoa is heartworm positive, which is common among strays in the South. The good news is that she has completed treatment and is on her way to being heartworm negative soon. If you have any questions about her health, please don’t hesitate to reach out via email. Cocoa is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, on monthly preventative, dewormed, and microchipped.
