Meet Coco Cool Sweet Girl
Meet Coco, estimated to be just two years old, we think shes a Husky mix of some sort. Of course, with rescue its always a guess, so these are simply educated guesstimates! She currently tips the scales at a lap sized 42 pounds.
Fall in love with Coco here: https://youtu.be/eZUSv0QUJzI?feature=shared
My favorite thing about Coco is just how friendly she is with people. With Coco, you wont get that typical super standoffish Husky vibe. Shes interested in you the moment you meet, she approached us pretty quickly to ask for pets, and nudge our treat pouches in polite suggestion, but wasnt overly pesky about it. Cocos foster mom says she enjoys couch snuggles, and even talks to you, shes not overly vocal while playing, but shell carry a conversation with her favorite humans.
All of that Husky charm is underscored by another awesome Husky-ish trait- Coco is cat tolerant. She currently lives with two kitties in the home and does great with them. We had an opportunity to cat test her again, just to double check, and she proved herself cat tolerant. See Coco with our house kitty in her adoption video! We could see her living with a dog savvy cat.
Coco lives in a home with multiple other dogs, and enjoys her time with them in backyard play sessions and tandem walks through the neighborhood. Coco is good on leash already, and with a little one on one practice shell be your perfect walking companion!
We had the opportunity to see Coco meet a couple new dogs for ourselves, and she was friendly and even a little playful with them. Our energetic, friendly young pup named Kash has nothing but good things to say about her, they became fast friends and she was very tolerant of his puppyish enthusiasm. With an older, more confident and playful Kelpie mix, Coco came out of her shell a bit more and even began to play chase! Playtime with Coco is a lot of chase, the face-bitey game, and if theres a doggy pool around shell absolutely be in it! Coco could live with other dogs, we think her perfect doggy match would be a goofy, somewhat playful male dog. Someone she can romp with, but also rest with.
Coco is also great in the car, she prefers to ride in the backseat but sticks her head through the gap in the front seats to be closer to you! Shes also a total smarty pants, she knows sit, and paw, and will work for treats! Shes a gentle treat taker, making training sessions enjoyable and rewarding for both of you. Her foster mom brags that shes fully crate trained.
Coco has her bags packed and shes ready to go home with you! She could live with other dogs, cats or children. While we havent seen her with kids just yet, we think she would be a great fit for a home with kids aged ten and up. We believe Coco would prefer a home with lots of room to stretch her legs, and perhaps room for a doggy pool! We are willing to test Coco with anything you need us to in order to ensure she is the perfect match for you! We can make most anything happen! Just let us know.

https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success.
Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!
Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond.
Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
The rescues hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical caresuch as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic carecan lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded.
It doesnt stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS:

Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!
Follow our rescue journey and connect with us on our website and social media platforms. Together, we can make a difference, one adoption at a time.
