Meet Coco
In early April we heard about 2 dogs who were dumped in a rural area that needed help. They were heartworm positive and one was pregnant. Once we got them rescued and in foster, the day after, Coco gave birth to 12! very healthy puppies, who have all been spoken for as of now. After she was spayed, we recently began Coco on the first steps of her heartworm treatment. She will still be available for adoption and our clinic will continue to treat her with HOPE covering it. Here’s a little bit about what her foster has to say about her:
“Coco- Everyone who meets coco says “she reminds me of my childhood dog!!” She is sweet and loving. Would love to be with you at all times. It’s hard to tell if she is potty trained because she has had some tummy issues since having her puppies. She is crate trained and finds the crate when she wants space. She loves to snuggle and chews only dog toys! Not furniture. Yay! Her fur has been slowly growing back on her face. She is SUPER easy on walks and likes to play but usually is just wanting to hangout. Likes other dogs but chases cats”
