SPECIAL NEEDS PUPPY, READ ALL BEFORE APPLYING:
Clove is an 8 week old Pug with a cleft palate. She is eating and drinking well on her own. She is a tiny, petite little girl only weighing 3lbs. Don't let her size fool you though, she is a feisty, spunky, robust girl who can put her 10lb brother in his place.
Clove is looking for a fun, active family with another playful, smaller dog. She does great with cats as well.
Clove will need someone home during the day because she loves her cuddles. She would prefer another doggie sibling as she also loves to play.
No children under the age of 12. Clove is only 3 pounds and as a special needs pup small children and small toys can pose a threat to her.

We have a lot of interest so far for her but always welcome apps for anyone serious about applying for a special needs pup. Please indicate if you would like to be considered for future special needs pup if Clove finds a different home.

We are in Rochester, NY, we adopt to people who live in the Rochester area. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally we require physically fenced yard for dog/pup to play in safely. Exceptions are sometimes made to this requirement but is up to the foster and more often done for the small breed dogs.

All our dogs have been treated with dewormer; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchipped; and examined by veterinarian plus given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption. Adopter is responsible for spay/neuter by 6 months of age for adoption to be considered complete.

We provide information on dogs age and breed based on what we are told by person surrendering dog or vet's best guess. While we try our best we cannot guarantee that this information is 100% accurate and can often be best guess in case of our lovable mutts.
