Circe - A Shy Soul Who Needs Time to Bloom

I'm Circe, a 1-year-old pup who's still learning to trust the world around me. I'm a little shy and nervous, especially in new places or when I meet new people. It can take me a little longer to warm up, but I promise, when I feel safe, I'm the sweetest, most loving companion you could ask for. I'm a total cuddle bug and a velcro dog-I just want to be by your side, soaking up all the love I can get.

I may not be the type to run up to you with excitement or jump right into new situations. In fact, I can be pretty fearful and cautious. It takes me time to feel comfortable and confident, but once I trust you, I'm yours forever. I'm a mellow, laid-back girl who's happiest when I'm snuggled up next to you on the couch, quietly keeping you company. I don't need much-just some patience, a little understanding, and a calm space to call my own.

I'll need a few visits before I really trust you. I know it's a bit of a challenge, but I promise I'm worth the wait. My confidence isn't the highest, and sometimes I feel overwhelmed in new situations. I might need help with socializing, both with people and other dogs. But don't worry-I'm smart, and with some gentle guidance, I'll catch on. I might even be okay with cats, though that's still something we'll need to figure out together.

Older, calm children would be a great fit for me, as I can get nervous around loud noises or quick movements. But I'm good with other dogs, and I think having a doggy friend could help me feel more secure and confident. I'll need some basic training, but I'm eager to learn and please.

I know I'm a little more work than some dogs, but with time, I'll be your constant companion, the one who's always by your side, quietly loving you. If you're patient enough to help me grow, I'll show you just how sweet and loving I can be.

I'm not a high-energy dog, but I'm full of love. If you give me the space to feel safe and the time to build my confidence, I promise you'll get a loyal, loving friend in return. I might be shy and a little nervous now, but I just need the right person to help me bloom.
