Cookie and his brother and their mom were all adopted from the shelter this year. Cookie has been returned and is needing a new home. He's now 7 months old and is quite an impressive PUP. He's sweet as can be and he knows sit and he is an excellent little walking buddy.
Any pet who has been at the shelter more than 30 days (check INTAKE DATE on card) OR weighs 40 pounds or more has a waived adoption fee. OKC Animal Welfare is open for adoptions from 12-5:00 Tuesday through Saturday.
The dog/cat adoption fee, which is normally $60 unless we are having a special, includes spay or neuter, MICROCHIP, age-appropriate shots and health check. The shelter is at 2811 S.E. 29th St., phone # 297-3100. Use pet's ID # when inquiring. Special Adoption Fees: In the following cases, the adoption fee is $30-if more than one pet is adopted and the adoption fee of one or both is $60, if the pet is 4 years of age or older and they don't meet the descriptions in the 1st sentence, and if the pet has been at the shelter more than 2 weeks.
