Accepting applications now for Chloe! She is a 6 year old purebred Newfoundland located near Chicago, IL. Chloe requires a single driver transport by her adopter from her foster home as she has anxiety in the car and will be stressed by multiple drivers/switching cars.

Chloe is sweet as can be and longs for a human who will be her everything. She does fine with other mellow dogs but wants to be your velcro girl so that position must be available in your family! Do you have a spot in your home and heart for this girl?

Chloe is a very sweet, gentle dog with a secret silly side. As a retired mill mama, she craves security and human affection. Her foster lovingly calls her a Shadow Newf - she prefers to hang out with her people whenever they are home! She does not like to be crated and prefers to free roam in a dog-safe space, but she does well when left alone. She enjoys meeting new visitors in her home once she has a chance to warm up and she is working on courage meeting new people outside.

Chloe thinks people are way better than other dogs - she would likely do well as a solo dog or as a coexister with another calm dog. She currently lives with a teenager and has briefly met a few children outside. She likes to gnaw on hard chew toys and play a polite game of tag in the yard. She loves snackies and meal times and would happily taste-test your dinner for you. Chloe currently struggles with anxiety while in the car, which will be something to work on in her forever home.

Chloe loves her human friends and can't wait to find her forever home. She's got a true Newf heart, kind, gentle, and sweet. She will make a wonderful companion.
