Meet Chiquita! She is the sweetest girl you’ll ever meet! Chiquita loves being with her humans, and she enjoys pets and cuddles. She is about 3 years old & weighs 52 lbs and adoptable through Dogs of Del Norte County.

Chiquita is living in a foster home in Vancouver, WA, and she is making progress on her leash skills. Chiquita has recently mastered commands like “paw” and “other paw,” and she’s currently learning to drop the ball on command while playing fetch! She loves playing with the water from the hose, and happily drinks from it. Chiquita is playful and loves her tennis balls!

Chiquita is not interested in destroying furniture or shoes, and is doing very well when left alone at home for a few hours. Chiquita is also house trained! She is also very calm during baths, sitting patiently throughout the process. Chiquita is not a fan of cats, and would do best without one in her forever home. She has passed her kid test, and really seems to love all humans. Chiquita has shown some selectivity with female dogs, so if you have a dog we think she’d do best with a male companion!
