Meet Chi Chi
Available for Adoption in Toronto/GTA and surrounding areas within ON where we have volunteers in place.
Name: Chi Chi

Age: 4-5 years old
Weight: 6 lbs
Chi Chi is a 6 lbs cutie. Lots of personality and quirky traits. He's a cute little boy who is pretty calm and quiet for a Chihuahua.
He's affectionate and independent enough to be on his own doing his own thing. He loves to sleep in his bed, and if another small dog comes over and wants to cuddle with him, he's going to be happy to cuddle and share. But if a human goes near his bed, he gets protective of his bed and may bite.
Other than that, the little guy is so cute and so sweet. He's a little clown! His foster mom brings him to work and rides the TTC like a champ. He loves his carrier and sits quietly in it.
**Additional observation: "He is full of sass and confident with people he knows. He warms up quickly but does have some of the stereotypical tendencies of chihuahuas where he is a one person guy. He can be grumpy when he's sleeping and doesn't like to be woken up. Especially, if it's cold outside, he may not want to
go!
He needs to warm up to you before he lets you pet him.

-A home with a flexible work schedule
-Rescue dog experience
-Experience with reactivity
-Understanding and knowledge of the Chihuahua breed.
