Meet Cheyenne - A Heart Full of Love, Just Waiting for Hers to Find a Home!
Cheyenne may be between 7 and 8 years old and she's deaf, but that doesn't slow her down one bit! This sweetheart is currently being fostered in Arlington, WA, and is ready to steal hearts with her gentle soul and adorable quirks.
Through no fault of her own, Cheyenne found herself in an Everett shelter before MLBR stepped in to give her a second chance. And let us tell you-whoever brings this girl home is in for a lifetime of love. She lives for booty scratches and body rubs and will let out the cutest little grunt if you dare stop too soon! Her happy noises and loving nature make her impossible not to adore. Believe it or not, this girl can also tell time, yes, you read that right! She will never let you forget when it's time for breakfast, lunch or dinner, or if her water bowl is empty!

*Loyal & Loving: She's a Velcro pup who follows her foster parents everywhere. Because she's deaf, it brings her comfort and security when she can see her people.
*Kid-Friendly: She does great with dog-savvy children who can respect her space and boundaries.
*Crate-Trained: Just point, and she trots right in-easy peasy! She also knows the commands sit, down, come, and wait, all with hand signals. She will do just about anything for a treat or a meal.
*Car Ride Enthusiast: Ready to go when you are! This girl loves the car, she might bark at passing dogs, but mostly she's a pro at napping in the backseat or enjoying the breeze out the window.
CHEYENNE'S PERFECT HOME:
Cheyenne has a high prey drive, so no cats or small critters for this girl. Her foster family is still working on walking her on-leash with distractions going on, and while she is also still working on some mild resource guarding with chews, she's learning quickly and just needs a little patience. She's not one to roughhouse with other dogs or play with toys, so she'd be happiest soaking up all the love in a calm, quiet home, maybe with a retired couple or someone who works from home. This girl loves nothing more than mealtimes, hands-on love and attention, and a sunny warm place to lay.
