Meet Chester
Chester is an 11 month old poodle mix, weighing 9 pounds. He has generated a lot of interest, but unfortunately is still in search of his perfect forever home.
Chester is 100% sweet, wild puppy. He will need an active home that understands he is going to need to continue to work on his manners and gets lots of play time.
He was originally from a puppy mill and is adapting extremely well to living in a home. He is very curious and alert and is VERY energetic. He gets along great with other dogs and all people.
He is very playful and fun, however he is ALL puppy. He tears around the house with his toys and can get very excited and jumpy with visitors. He is also puppy mouthy, but his foster mom is working on that by redirecting with toys and crate breaks.
All typical puppy behavior and he will need to continue to work on his manners!
He loves to sleep in the bed cuddling up to his person. He also loves to cuddle with his person in a chair. He always uses doggy stairs to get up on the bed and furniture.
Chester is about 95% housebroken. He will usually whine and go to the door when he needs to go outside.
Having a home with another playful pet would be a plus! Also, since he loves to explore the outside and having a fenced in yard would also be a plus. He always finds things to play with outside, i.e., sticks, leaves, etc.
Chester learns quickly and acts just as you would expect an 11 month old puppy to act. You would never even know he is a puppy mill survivor.
Chester is neutered and up to date on all vaccines and heart worm negative.
