Meet Cherry and her cheery ears! There’s no keeping secrets from this sweet girl, but she’s all ears to listen to your problems! Cherry came to the shelter as a stray and while she can be timid with adults humans, she finds her comfort among children and other dogs. You’ll have to work for her affection, but once you have it, you’ll never lose it.

Belgian malinois are gorgeous and loyal dogs, but they do require quite a lot of work and dedication. They are extremely smart and active and because of this they require a lot of physical and mental challenge in the form of sports, training, and puzzle work! Without the needed stimulation, they can become very bored and destructive.

All adoptions are done by appointment; once an application request has been received, we will send you an application via email. Once we receive the filled-out application we can move forward with scheduling a day and time for Cherry to meet you at the shelter!

All adoptions are $10. There is a $50 spay/neuter deposit for dogs, which is fully refundable upon proof of spay/neuter. Spaying/neutering shelter animals is required by California law; it is not optional. In California, dogs are required to have current rabies vaccinations and must be licensed in their county of residence.
