Charlotte German Shepherd Dog Chicago, IL

Meet Charlotte! This sweet girl came to us from our friends at South Suburban Humane Society. She was found dumped in a forest preserve in the south suburbs of Chicago. She was underweight with a skin infection. Charlotte does have an old injury to her ear that was likely never treated, but it’s just scar tissue now. She is a smaller size shepherd at about 45 lbs. Her age is a bit of a mystery. We think originally she was aged as a senior because she was in rough shape, but our vet thought she was closer to five years old. She had a dental, and ready for her forever home! Charlotte is good with other dogs and his fostered with a male GSD. She does her food from other dogs, likely from living on the streets for a while so she does need to be fed separately. She can be shy meeting new people, but is very sweet. Charlotte loves to snuggle her foster dad! She will carry stuffy toys around and loves her ball! Charlotte enjoys car rides. She has good leash manners, is housebroken, and crate trained.
