Charlie is a petite 11-pound Chihuahua who narrowly escaped a tragic fate in a small West Texas shelter. Found as a stray in Brownfield, TX, this sweet boy is slowly opening his heart to the world. While he may be cautious at first, especially around men, Charlie's gentle spirit shines through. He has a deep love for other dogs and finds pure joy in frolicking in the grass with his toys. He loves burrowing in his blankets only letting his sweet little face shine through. This little survivor is searching for a patient and understanding home where he can blossom into the loving companion he deserves. He enjoys going on walks, especially with his two-legged, 8-year old friend, Hadley. Could you be the one to offer Charlie a second chance?

Cat homes: If the dog has not lived in a foster home with cats, the home will not be considered since we can not safely say they are good with cats.

PFR ADOPTION FEE:
$500 (includes transport)

All directly adopted dogs come vaccinated, microchipped, spayed / neutered, if 6 months or older require a negative heartworm test, and up to date on flea & tick preventative and heartworm preventative if applicable. Your adoption allows us to continue our mission. Thank you for opting to adopt!
