Charlie Chihuahua Mix Atlanta, GA

Charlie is believed to be a long-haired Chihuahua with something else cute sprinkled in. Perhaps bunny? Or a descendent of Falkor from The Neverending Story? Or maybe a gremlin?

Charlie is a young adult and weighs about 9 lbs. He is soft and cuddly and sweet but also can be easily startled; unfortunately we believe that people were not kind to him in the past. He was abandoned in his apartment when those people left but it is a blessing in disguise because now he has a chance at a life getting the love, care, and treatment he deserves. We think that with consistent kindness and love, he will learn people aren't going to hurt him anymore.

His foster says that when he prances around, it makes her laugh because it looks like he's wearing little socks on his front feet. She thinks it's great that hair is super soft and fluffy but there's no need to take him to the groomer for haircuts since it doesn't get any longer. She also loves that he wiggles his entire body with joy when she walks into the room. She thinks that his ideal home would be one on the calmer side and with compassionate people.

Charlie would be happiest with another dog in the home, preferably around his size and female. Also preferably a dog who is confident as he can be pretty insecure so this is helpful for him.
