FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED!

•Age: 1.5 years old
•Good with: Other dogs, older kids, and cats
•Housebroken: Yes
•Crate trained: Working on it. She cries in her crate but can stay quiet up to a few hours
•Leash manners: Good on leash
•Energy: Medium - High
•Behavior: Charlay is just a young puppy who has a lot to learn still. She is in training classes and has nailed basic obedience. She needs someone will to help her work through being in the crate alone. Benefits from training and exercise and would do best with a routine. Needs to work on jumping and being mouthy.

Who’s looking for their next GOLDEN child? Well look no further, you landed the perfect gal for the job, me, Charlay!

Now before we begin I just want to get one thing straight, the name is not CharLIE, its CharLAY, because I’m more sophisticated than that. But not really, because I’m only a 1.5 year old pittie pup.

The Last Stop people sat me down to interview me and I had to tell them a few things about myself. They’re probably working on making it fancy and stuff, but I say that’s taking too long so I’m just gonna take a stab at it myself!
At my age, you should expect that I am pretty playful! I like to use my mouth when I play with you, but its all good intentions/gentle and a lot of the people I play with at LSR don’t mind that!

I’ve been working a lot on my training skills because being the golden girl is really something that I have to live up to. I am pretty good at it from what the volunteers say, and that’s not me sugar coating, that’s their job!

If anyone knows anything about pitties, (apparently) we are a sweet kind with a bad rep for no reason. I definitely don’t live up to that bad rep! I like affection if you’ll give it to me:) I am pretty social with all people. If you let me in, I’m there! With proper introduction I can live with another dog!

I lost a good loving home due to no one’s fault, but I would really like to find another. Do you think you could put some SUNSHINE in my day? I sure hope so

If you're interested in donating, sponsoring or volunteering please visit us at www.LastStopRescue.com or follow us on Facebook at www.Facebook.com/Laststoprescue.il!

We treat these dogs as individuals with needs and to that end all of our dogs will have been in fosters no less than two weeks, they will have at least started training if not attend weekly classes and get daily training at home with the fosters!

Which means our longest residents will be the best trained, as long as they're with us we're going to keep socializing and working through any issues they may have.

When you adopt from us you will have a very clear picture of the dog you're meeting and on going support!

Our Fees are as follows:
Senior dogs over 7 are $450
Adult dogs are $650
Puppies under 1 year are $800
Specific breeds are $900

With each adoption you will be...
1. Given up to four hours of free training (from the foster and coordinator),
a. Some dogs require additional free training hours before they can go home.
2. Full medical report of all findings,
3. All of the supplies needed for a new dog as we attain these for the care of each dog,
4. A full run down on their behavioral status, where they started, where they are and how far is left to go. This will be detailed in a training plan from us about what they can or cannot handle well and it will be discussed as much as needed!
5. On going support post adoption as long as needed!
We fully vet all of our dogs which is reflected in our adoption fee. On average we will pay about 600 dollars in medical per dog. Every dog gets a full blood panel, fecal/urine check, heartworm & tick panel and treatment if required, spayed/neutered, all shots and boosters, along with anything specific to their needs.
