Meet Chance, the 54-pound ball of energy and love you’ve been waiting for! At 1.5 years old, this mixed breed dynamo is all about living life to the fullest. Whether he’s zooming around the yard like a rocket or snuggling up after a day of fun, Chance knows how to balance excitement with affection.

This boy is fast—like, “might have some cheetah in him” fast! He’s happiest when he’s outside, playing fetch or hanging out with his doggy buddies at the park. He’s the life of the party at daycare, where he thrives on social interaction with dogs of all sizes (just maybe not the super tiny ones—he doesn’t always know his own strength!).

Chance is a smart cookie, too. He’s potty trained, knows his basic commands, and is crate trained (though he’s not a huge fan of being in the crate for too long). Just give him a Kong stuffed with peanut butter and bananas, and he’ll settle in like a champ. He’s got a few quirks—like pulling on the leash when squirrels are around and a bit of counter surfing when no one’s looking (yes, he will eat those banana muffins if given the chance!).

With his high energy, Chance would love a home with a big yard and an active lifestyle to match. He’s the perfect hiking buddy and would thrive with someone who’s ready for outdoor adventures. Plus, with his intelligence, Chance is a great candidate for further training—he’s eager to learn and please!

Chance is best suited for a home with someone who understands his need for space and can help him continue building his confidence. This boy has so much love to give, and with the right person, he’s going to be the most loyal and fun companion you could ask for.

Chance is currently being fostered in New Jersey and will be transported to his forever home by our rescue! We have transports departing each week!
