We are a foster-based rescue. You will need an appointment to meet the animal where they are being fostered, with an approved application. Home checks and vet references are required for all adopters. Please only apply if you can pass a home check.

MEET CERBERUS!
Cerberus is an approximately 2-year-old male Lab/Pitbull mix. He currently weighs in at about 50-55 pounds.
Cerberus does well with other dogs but sometimes can be fearful of kitties and children under 5.
Cerberus came from a home with about 11 other adult dogs in the house and has never known a kennel, so he is still working on kennel training; he can be very vocal when in a kennel.
He is also working hard on learning to go potty outside. When taken out frequently enough, he does not have any indoor accidents but will sometimes potty in his kennel overnight.
He is most comfortable taking cues on how to behave from other dogs and would do well in a multi-dog home (at least one other dog) as he is a follower.
He is very timid and shy, but once he warms up the love is on. He will fall off the couch with butt scratches! They excite him so much!
He has been working slowly on basic training with his foster. He has made great progress so far and will need continued training for Crate training, Sit, Stay, Come, and riding in the car.
His perfect home would be one where they have the patience to help Cerberus learn to trust his people and continue his training.
When surrendered, we were informed that he was rehomed multiple times, and that has caused some anxiety for Cerberus around moving and changing families, but with patience and love, he has learned who trusted and safe people are.
With time and bonding, he has come out of his shell, and with a stable family, he will make leaps and bounds in his confidence.
Cerberus requires a fenced yard.
Cerberus is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and dewormed.
Cerberus' meet and greet will be in Winlock. If you would like to meet Cerberus in person, you will need to be willing to travel to Winlock.
Cerberus' adoption fee is $300.
An approved application and an appointment is required.
