Meet Cece
Hello, let me introduce myself, my name is Cece. I am a beautiful redhead with a lot of love to share. I grew up in a barn next to Mount Rainier. When I arrived at Canine Connections, I must say, I may have been a little under-socialized. I was afraid of most people but I didn't want them to know that I was afraid so I made a lot of noise in hopes that they were afraid of me. That did not work, they just kept coming back to me to show me that people are actually really nice. I eventually came around and now I LOVE people! I show them my wiggle skills whenever I see them. (I pride myself in my wiggle abilities). I love to be pet and I really love to go out in the yard and explore.
Walking on a leash has been a recently learned skill and I have taken to it beautifully. I walk very nicely on a leash. Once in awhile I find my old fears creep back in when walking and we approach something new, or fans. (Fans are very mysterious, scary creatures.) With the help of the leader on the other side of the leash, I am able to conquer my fears and learn how to approach said scary thing. Except for the fans, they really are creepy!
I am SO ready to go to my new forever home where the people are friendly, experienced with dogs and willing to help me conquer any new things that may cross my path. Once I get used to things, they really don't scare me anymore. I pretend that I want to be the leader but I am so much more comfortable if you would take that role in life for me. It really makes me relax.
In regards to other dogs, I would be a wonderful only dog, basking in all the attention but I am willing to share with another dog that might let me decide how and when we play. If the other dog is pretty chill, we will do great. I love to play with my sister and she is pretty docile and tolerant.
A recap, I am gorgeous! I am fun! I am loyal! I will protect your yard (if you want me to)! I've got mad wiggle skills! I will love you with all my heart! Please call soon and get me to your home! I can't wait to meet you!
In her eye’s there is faith - faith that kindness and love persists- faith that your hands and heart are open and supportive. Ultimately Cece is a Brave beauty who seems determined to leave her fears and doubts behind as she searches for that perfect leg to lean against. Having spent her first year of life sequestered in a barn with four siblings, this sweet, active girl is in search of a patient and experienced family interested in showing her the world at her own pace. Intelligence and alertness speak to her shepherd and rottweiler heritage as a drover and guardian. And while you may not need to move your sheep across the moor, Kristen Wiig-lebutt would thrive on a farm and with those wanting an exuberant outdoor companion. At roughly 60 pounds, this 18-month old girl is keen on learning new skills until some random object or noise triggers fear and stress. While she’s outgoing relative to her siblings, she is still cautious and shy and will take time to bond. She has recently been spayed and growing modestly more comfortable with the leash. She has never lived in a house and will need a gentle introduction to house living. She also would benefit greatly from a fully fenced backyard. With love and patience, however, she is sure to be a devoted companion willing to follow you into the most robust thicket.
Cece is a 1 !/2 year old, 60 pound lady that loves attention.
