Carmen is one of AHS longest residents!

5 year old Carmen needs to find a home! This sweet girl was found as a lost dog and has been so lost without a family. Carmen forms strong bonds with those she knows and loves but can be reserved and shy when meeting new faces- unfortunately this has led to Carmen being one of our longest stay dogs.

Carmen gets along ok with other dogs and with a proper intro and meet could be a potential canine sibling for a family with a dog. A home with older teenagers or adults would suit her just fine. Carmen loves playtime, she can't get enough of her stuffed toys and you'll usually see her playing fetch with a beloved staff member. Though Carmen can come off as shy she has so much love to give to her next potential family. You can't judge a book by it's cover, so come down to the shelter to meet Carmen!
