Meet Carley
Carley is a purebred Golden Retriever who came to us after retiring from breeding. She is shy around new people but warms up when you take her outside. Give her a good scratch under her chin and she will smile. She likes other dogs and requires another well balanced dog already in a home. We would like for her and her sister, Sadie, to be adopted together. We don't know how she is around children, so any children in the home need to be older (10+) and dog savvy. We don't know how she is around cats. She requires a securely fenced yard connected to an exit door of the home, fence must be at least 4 feet high, no invisible fences.
Carley is 5 years old. Her current weight is around 75 pounds.
The minimum donation for Carley is $500.00. This includes all of her vetting. If you are interested in Carley, please fill out an online application through our website.
Then meet her at the shelter during adoption hours on Saturdays and Sundays 10 - 2pm. All members of the household, including your current dog, need to meet the dog you are interested in. Vet records for any current or previous pets need to be provided. If all goes well, home visits are done prior to adoption, and you must be within reasonable distance for that to be accomplished.
