Meet Cardi
Personality: goofy/funny, snuggler, adaptable, affectionate, smart, trustworthy, and eager-to-please.
Introducing Cardi, your new 'snuggle sensation' - she's got more moves than her famous namesake and will gladly drape herself all over you like a cozy blanket. Her sweet eyes will quickly convince you to stop what you are doing and cuddle up!
Cardi can also be quite independent, and she's content to play with her toys, relax on her bed, or quietly keep you company while you're busy. She is housetrained and enjoys sleeping in her crate.
Cardi is great with the resident dog in her foster home and rides calmly in the car. This friendly lady has already learned "sit" and "come, and is eager to please her people by learning more!
If you're looking for a wiggly lap dog who's happiest sprawled all over her humans, Cardi is the gal for you. Apply today to meet Cardi!

City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Washington, DC. We do not have a shelter. CDCK has a thorough adoption process to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats (we do not operate under a first-come, first-served model).
Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter for dogs six months and older. We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam before adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDCK. City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us.
Dog specific: Rabies, DHPP, Lepto and Bordetella vaccines. They are tested for HW, Lyme, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis.
Most cats and dogs will have a house-training accident in the initial days in their new home and we cannot guarantee any pet is housebroken or crate trained.
