Meet Captain! He is a very well-behaved, 35lb, adult Wheaten terrier. The first thing you will notice about Captain is his beautiful silvery blue-blond hair. Eventually it will be a gorgeous wavy coat!

Captain is a wonderful dog to have in the house. He hasn’t had a single accident, and he walks himself into the kennel. He absolutely loves car rides.

If you are looking for a loyal companion who doesn’t need to be on your lap 24/7, Captain might be your guy. He is good with other dogs, but is probably happiest with max 1-2 other dogs in the house. Or, he’d be happy being the only dog. Captain is untested with cats or children. He does not like to be bothered when he’s eating.

Captain is skittish in new surroundings and with new people, but once he’s decided he is good with you or the situation, he’s good. One thing that is scary to him right now is going on a walk. It’s possible he will be more open to them once he settles in more, so for now he’s happy running around in a fenced yard. (He could go without a fence to the right home.)
